On Wednesday 4th and Thursday 5th July, the Teletubbies are headed to Brighton to the Theatre Royal Brighton for their first ever live show. It looks to be a mix of singing, dancing and running around from everyone’s favourite givers of big hugs.

On first glance from the preview pics I can see that these Teletubbies will be larger than life and will no doubt captivate their audience, not least of all my own pre-school children who have yet to see their favourite TV character’s up on the stage. They are both 3.5 years and 8 months old and I think they’ll both get different things out of it. One will be singing along like a loon no doubt and the other captivated by the colours.

I told my eldest we were going and she was so excited to see Po, who seems to be every small girls’ favourite from the show.

“Did I leave the gas on?”

Me? I’m a Noo-Noo fan (it just looks so…so…stunned) and am glad to see that they’ll be bringing it and a bunch of other characters to the stage too. It’ll make watching it as an adult that much easier!

I’m told it’s an hour and ten long with an interval halfway through so it shouldn’t tire the baby out too much and will be a nice experience and alternative to the usual baby groups going on in Brighton and Hove that day.
